Everyone has likely heard the exciting news that Thompson Square are expecting their first baby in early 2016. At the time of Country Cruising 2015, Shawna will be in her last trimester, and unfortunately, due to cruise line policy Thompson Square will not be able to participate on the Country Cruise. Gotta keep Momma and baby safe! Keifer and Shawna are really disappointed that they will miss performing, and hanging out with their fans! They hope to make it up to y’all in the future! - T2Team


Thompson Square announced today that the on-stage and real-life couple will no longer be a duo. In fact, Thompson Square – or “T2” as fans affectionately call the married couple – will soon become “T3” with the arrival of their first child in January 2016!

“We are overjoyed to announce that after 16 years of marriage, we are finally starting a family and are excited beyond words to begin this new journey into parenthood!"

Motorcycles, barbecue and Thompson Square all came together on Sunday to raise funds for the USO.

The award-winning country duo was part of the BBQ Backroads Ride event, which kicked off at noon on Sunday at Sloan's Motorcycles in Murfreesboro, Tenn. (2233 NW Broad St.) The ride started at 1 p.m. and ended in Lynchburg, Tenn., with a live performance and meet and greet with the band, along with a BBQ dinner.

Grand Ole Opry fans were treated to a star-studded performance Wednesday night (7/1) when Country & Bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs joined multi-platinum selling duo Thompson Square on the legendary Grand Ole Opry stage.

The surprise collaboration found Skaggs and the ACM / CMA-winning “Vocal Duo of the Year” belting out an emotionally-stirring performance of the Patty Loveless classic “Some Morning Soon.” The magical moment between the two stalwart acts ended with the Opry crowd erupting into thunderous applause.
